I’ve heard of fury but is he that good that the idea of him fighting prime Ali would even be in question?

fury bigger and longer reach.

my choice is Gerry coetzee vs Tyson so I could see Tyson get beat. coetzee was champ twice. broke his hand. he used his reach well.

I think after prison Mike was a different boxer.

The aura was the only thing that was different

Now if you want to say Tyson at say 25 but also with Cus D’Mato against prime Holyfield, then you’ve got a discussion.

It's Dempsey vs. Tyson in a mythical world. Haymakers abound, both trying to get inside, brawling, no dancing. A Heavyweight fight at the Middleweight punch count.

Just imagine the pre-fight interviews Ali would've cut on a guy of Tyson's questionable intelligence...

Agree. He was a legit Heavy and fought everybody including Tyson, who he pretty much destroyed. Didn't he get KO'ed by Hasim Rahman though? I pretty much quit following boxing and started getting more into UFC towards the end of his career. Did he ever fight one of the Ukranian brothers? Vitali or something? Those were some pretty salty dudes as well.

The thing about Holyfield and Foreman is they had legit chins. Their fight was a classic. I think you could hit Evander with a sledge hammer and you couldn't knock him out.

Tyson wouldn’t fight Foreman when George was 45 years old. You going to put him against a 25 year old Foreman.

Prime Mike Tyson vs Prime David Tua. Somebody’s head would come off their body.
