Being a catcher looks absolutely brutal, but I've never seen a catcher's throat get sliced open in the middle of a game.
For 120+ yrs, dudes with literal metal spikes on their feet tried to slide into and bull over catcher's as they turned almost helplessly into or stood in front o...

Posted by Jack Ruby on 5/11/24 at 6:12 pm

Both have rock-like projectiles flying at them at 100mph.
One is on skates
One has a much more difficult stance and less protection/padding and more susceptible to injury.
One has to play offense as well and in on almost every play
If one ge...

re: Netflix expected to close on deal to host NFL Christmas Day games

Pac 12 did the same thing. They thought by owning and broadcasting their own games, they would have suitors lining up to buy the rights to their content and show them on 100 different platforms like Netflix, Apple, Amazon, etc.
It did not work.... ...

re: Brian Cushing...Yall remember this dude?

Most guys in their 30s and above should probably be on Test shots for the rest of their lives, too... And none of them were ever bodybuilders or ever touched a PED. Before.
Estrogen, atrazine, and everything else in the American food and water system is like injecting pure estrogen. ...
re: Brian Cushing...Yall remember this dude?

There were some complete badass juiced up freak white dudes on the defensive side in the late 00s/early 2010s in the NFL.
Watt
Cushing
Matthews
AJ Hawk
Luke Keuchly (probably natural but still a freak).

Just shows how good of a scout, coach and developer Hurley and his staff are at the moment. He seems to value cohesion and mentality over raw talent.
He comes off as a total NJ prick, but he is far and away the best coach in CBB right now. ...
