Neville currently has the most players in the NFL than any other school in Louisiana. There were only 5 other schools in the nation that had more. This was 2022 NFL season.

Lets not forget Calvin Natt from Bastrop!
3-Time All State in Basketville.
2-State Championship Teams.
NBA rookie of the year!
Excelled in 2-sports
Finished 1st in the 4-AAAA state track meet in the
Shot Put!
Finished 2nd in the 4-AAAA state track meet in the
High Jump! 6'7"
How many people in Louisiana, the United States, or parts of Arkansas and the rest of the World can do that!

For baseball it's Jesuit and it's not even close. After that, I'd put Catholic High and Barbe tied at 2. CHS has more MLB players, but Barbe has had more college players. 4 of Barbe's players have a combined 6 seasons of MLB.

STM I'd put at 4th because they're the only other school with 5 players that made an MLB roster.

MLB Players All-time (Active)

Jesuit: 13 (0 active)
Catholic High BR: 6 (3 active)
Barbe: 5 (0 active)
St. Thomas More: 5 (1 active)

The Gatorade player of the Year came out in 1985. How do you expect Pete Maravich, Karl Malone and Robert Parish to win an award that wasn’t even around when they were in high school?

Using the number of professional players from a school, from what I can tell, the answers per sport are below.

St. Aug - football - this was discussed a week or so ago and it isn't actually close.

For Baseball, as of 2020, it was Jesuit High. They are tied for 15th among all high schools period with 13 MLB alumni. A few of those are pretty spectacular names.

Putsy Caballero (1944-52)
Will Clark (1986-2000)
Fats Dantonio (1944-45)
Jim Gaudet (1978-79)
Johnny Giavotella (2011-17)
Charlie Gilbert (1940-47)
Larry Gilbert (1914-15)
Tookie Gilbert (1950-53)
Kyle Keller (2019-present)
Connie Ryan (1942-54)
Rusty Staub (1963-85)

For Basketball, it looks like McKinley with 6 followed by Zachary with 5 NBA & ABA alumni. Not sure I would have thought either of those, TBH.

Are you counting the number of athletes that were already athletes when they went to the school or how many athletes the school created and produced?

West Monroe has 14.

I am 90% certain there was a guy from the 1970's that played for Seattle but I can't remember his name. If I'm right, he would make 15.
