Walmart had better be paying me a lot if they want me to stop folks running out with goods. I'd be perfectly fine with the store policy of not stopping them and letting cops handle it.

Guaranteed Walmart pays him dogshit and they’ll absolutely fire him to avoid a lawsuit. The company doesn’t give a shite about that tv…..they just care about not getting sued. Why put your job…..and possibly your life….on the line for a company that doesn’t give a shite about you?

Ppl don’t give a specific reason, they just say good for stopping them.
Reality it’s not their property, most large businesses don’t want you stopping shoplifters, and will fire you if you do.
I’m against shoplifters (that is security job), but do you think those employees will get rewarded or fired?

You love to see it, but lets be honest, this is only acceptable to the MSM/Social Media because the shoplifter and the employee are the same ethnicity. Had the employee been of Caucasian decent, he'd be raked over the coals, labeled a racist, fired, and canceled.

They have no sensors at the exits and they have one guy monitoring multiple cameras for the entire store while one of the managers walks around d with a walkie. When he goes ho.e, they hire a local cop to come in and walk the floor. One guy for an entire department store.
It has to be one of the easiest stores to steal from ever.

yup. Places like Walmart include in their budget loss of product because of theft. That TV costs them a lot less than a lawsuit....and that's why I would be absolutely SHOCKED to find out that dude was able to keep his job.
And honestly....frick Walmart in general. I still say they're a major reason for the downfall of small, family-owned business in this country. I saw it in my hometown of Tupelo. Walmart opened a supercenter not far from me and within 6 months....the corner grocery store we always shopped at closed down. Other small mom and pop stores soon followed.
