Also, FSU hardly looked like world beaters today.

It will be interesting to see how they fare vs. Clemson and Miami.

Bruh, youre talking about an offense with three likely NFL hall of famers at QB and WR

There are no elite teams this year… I doubt any team gets to the CFP with at fewer than at least one loss

I can kind of get where the Miles hate came from

I enjoy listening to all of the media announcers- obliviously some are way better than others.
Stephen smith is about the only guy I could absolutely care less about.
Gary Danielson I think is fair.
All schools think the media hates their particular school.

I think there was some well-deserved shade that was deserved during the Miles years. I think Kirk (for the most part) calls it as he sees it.
I ignore him when he talks about Ohio St but otherwise I think he points out when LSU has problems and quickly stands on the table for LSU when we are right

He did leak the Miles to Michigan. We could've had the perfect year, win NC and the coach leave.

Only thing I have against Kirk and even then, he was just doing his job.

No, Passing Game Coordinator is not even close to 2019.

Most overhyped coach in lsu history. Ensminger was still a good OC without Brady. Brady on the other hand? Got fired by the panthers and has never been an OC anywhere else

I’m glad he threw shade during Miles era. Les mikes was a joke.

eh, Ensminger had Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, Helaire, and the OL in 2018, and didn't do anything with it. Only when Brady came here in 2019 was the offense unleashed.

The NFL is a completely different game than college.

This is why he gets hate. He got cucked for a check. Like it or not, political affiliation is the difference between like or dislike now.

rk is partly responsible for the Tigers being placed in the 2007 BCS national championship game. He openly and unapologetically advocated for us. Much respect. You haters have no memory. Either that or you are young and stupid.

This is exactly right. He was the first in the media to start talking about LSUs resume in 2007 and it carried a lot of weight. I remember thinking we had no shot and after he started talking about our wins over Va Tech and the SEC, I started thinking why not us. I will always give him credit for that.

Besides that he is just awesome…he has a great feel for the moment, knowledgeable and brings up points that are important to what is going on.

Herbie is solid as an analyst and he usually gets it right. I used to believe he’s an OSU homer but then I saw our guys (spears/Clark/booger)

Kirk use to throw constant shade during the Miles year

And a lot of that probably was echoed by the fans. Maybe Kirk was just frustrated too

The more games are played, the more right he seems. The SEC looks prime for the taking this season if we can build on how we played yesterday.

Kirk has long since been my favorite analyst in the game. He’s actually insightful and not just constant hot takes. I always enjoy when he and Fowler are on the call for our games

I’ll always hold it against Kirk that he was one of the loudest voices promoting the rematch of 2011. I don’t know how many times I heard him say “eyeball test” to push bama.

With all due respect, Kirk use to throw constant shade during the Miles year.
He was super critical of the offense under Miles, and he was damn right. TD just had a big group of fans that couldn't see the problems everyone else could see. "Blah blah, video game offense would hurt the defense."

I met him in front of Mike’s “cage” the Friday before the ‘96 Bama game. He talked to me for about 15 mins. Was a nice guy. Dude had to move out of Ohio for being critical of Ohio State. He seems objective to me.

I like him. I really like how he is so protective of Corso on game day.
