If this is anything like my local Walmart, they may be there to handle problems in store, not for their shopping.

Walmarts in my area are like a Waffle House at 3AM these days.

I agree. State troopers think they can sit in the left lane going 70 and don’t have to get over, therefore backing everything up behind them. So when they do that, I go around them going 80. Just do what they do baw.

Yep. It’s supposed to be a deterrent. I think I read somewhere that the Lafayette movie theater shooter was supposed to have shot up like a church or something but when he passed by, there was a cop car out front. He then went on to the theater and happened to catch a time between shift changes when there was no cop parked out front. Apparently the relief officer got in a wreck or something like that and there was a short delay for getting an officer to the theater for their detail. He shot the folks in the in between time.

Completely agree.

If they speed, they lose pay. Park illegally? Lose pay. Run a red light when not on a call to a location? Lose pay.

The people who enforce the laws should be held to a higher standard.

I would also increase their pay in order to bring in more qualified candidates.

Along with this, I would include punishments for judges if those they bond out commit violent offenses and pretty much make every punishment for every crime committed by a politician either corporal punishment or execution.

This is why I shouldn’t be emperor.

He could park in a regular spot and stand outside or inside and watch the door.

I agree with you on this kind of thing. I've also seen them turn on lights to bypass traffic, then turn them off when they got to their offramp.

We have a cop in my neighborhood, and he is always causing the HOA trouble.
