Pocking spots to blitz but a blitz heavy gameplan will be a disaster for defense with a running QB like Milroe, mix coverage and try to confuse him

Pushing the pocket up the middle is the Key- Dont let Milroe step up in the Pocket- make him throw early

My biggest question is what type of coverage will the secondary play. I know it sounds crazy but playing zone will be asking a lot of young corners. Much more communication is needed. If our young DB's are put into situations where they're thinking too much, we have no chance at holding this Bama offense.

I think this game will be won or lost by our play at LB. Our safeties will need to help the CB's more than usual and if our LB's can contain the run and Milroe from absolutely gashing us, we win.

HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF A ZONE BLITZ?

YA KNOW ONE WHERE YOU RUSH 5 AND STILL DROP 6 FACING THE QB?

so they can come up and make a tackle?

backs will not be turned like in cover 0 man blitz.

THINK MAN THINK

he wont blow by shite if we maintain rush lane integrity and if he does he will meet 3 guys in hook zones if we do zone blitz schemes and if he gets by them we will have 2 or 3 safties deep on top of that,.

learn what a zone blitz is. educate yourself

not if we zone blitz. it acvtually is much safer than cover 0 man blitz. we can mix it up.

Exactly. Also, this isn't 2003 anymore and blitzing isn't as effective like back in my day.

Blitzing a QB who is better on his feet than with his arm is not the best advice

Neither is dropping 8 and sitting in zone with highly suspect DB’s. I guess that’s the conundrum.

I think we must bring some kind of pressure.

The incompetent vs the inept. Should be entertaining.

Perkins party today. He has had some good plays this year, but today, he needs to be the game-changer that we know he can be. Geaux Tigers
