True, but it's also because they don't take risks. They're quite pragmatic in implementing new features and are anything but early adopters of new tech. Hence a 2023 Toyota looks about identical to one from 2013 when you sit inside and start playing with buttons and knobs.

The Telluride has a V6. Toyota only offers turbo 4 or hybrid now in similar suvs.

Decently priced with a 10 year power train warranty. Shits in others right now

I don't understand the down votes for simply stating reality.

Compared to a Hyundai, yes

My son has a Hyundai. Has had it for 6 years. Did have to change the tires and oil but nothing else.

Wife has one. Can't stand it.

ETA: The only thing I like about the Telluride is it's one of the easiest oil changes I've ever done. Everything is in one spot and easy to access.

I have a Kia Sorento, Lexus, and Toyota Tacoma from 2004. You couldn’t pay me enough to buy a Chevy, Ford, or Dodge. They are straight crap. I have owned all of them in the past. I have also owned a Honda Accord and would gladly repurchase one.

The wife got a Telluride SX Prestige

It's a decent sized ride, plenty of room for our family thus far. It's fully loaded on the inside, haven't really had an issue as of yet but it's less than a year old.

The only thing I want to change up is to put a 3 inch lift on it and paint the powder coat the rims all black

They have a better standard warranty than everyone including Toyota.

I can vouch for the Telluride. I believe it was the most sold car in America in 2022. The 2023 version is absurdly nice and spacious.

All that means is that they reserve more money for warranty work. Actual reliability is painfully underrepresented in warranty strategies.

Telluride and Palisade are rated top in their category. Same vehicle except for interior styling and exterior branding.

Kia has a huge plant in West Point, GA. About 30 minutes from Auburn just across the border.

I bought a 23 Sportage base model over the summer to be a grocery getter when im home. Love it. I'm 6'3" and am quite cozy inside - its kind of shocking how much more legroom there is in Kia's than other brands.

When my youngest daughter needed a vehicle, we test drive both Hyundai and Kia small SUV, as well as Nissan. Ultimately got a 2 yr old RAV 4. Came down to the ergonomics and design. Toyota just designed better in our opinion.

KIA Telluride

I remember when they first came out and I hated everything about them.

This is one brand that has improved time and time again. Their vehicles look great and from all indications are fine vehicles maintenance wise. Nice ride.
