I will add that if you are into outdoor stuff the Upper Cumberland area in Tennessee is wonderful. I live in Cookeville TN and we are surrounded by lakes and waterfalls.

All of Virginia is full of history. Not sure where you’re at now but Virginia has an income tax and personal property taxes. Have to pay on your cars, boats, etc. I would also consider Christiansburg/Blacksburg, Lexington, and Harrisonburg on the I-81 corridor. Lynchburg is nice also. All are colleg...
