I'm just here to read posts from the trashy people defending pit bulls.
My wife’s niece is one of these people. No amount of facts and data will convince her owning a pit is about as stupid as owning a pet hyena. These types of people are 100% emotionally driven. Logic is as foreign to them as calculus is to a new born baby.

Yeah, no. I’ve been attacked by a German shepherd
when we got our GSD (RIP Charles Barkley ) he had severe dog aggression. we got him when he was abt 7 months old, but we sent him to a special dog trainer and after 3 months, he was a new dog. We also, had to learn how to be the 'alpha' to him to give him direction and the confidence that we would 'lead him' if that makes any sense.
he came back, literally as a gentle giant. :hearts:
had we not done that, I have no doubt that he would've attacked someone, or unintentionally one of us trying to protect us.
big dog ownership requires that you be aware of the inherent nature of the animal, learn how to lead such animal and have the confidence and skills to do that well.
eta: I’m not sure that what I said applies to pit bull breeds. I think to a degree, that breed will remain more dangerous and unpredictable that other breeds.

I don't want to hear how we don't need ARs with more than 10 rounds anymore.

You and I are not doing the correct pitbull math. We see a horrid young lady covered in tattoos with a late term abortion device. She sees that pitbull as a cash machine and way to get constant negative attention.

Worthless and should not be allowed among people.
Pitbull owners, I mean.

Did anyone else in here immediately wonder how they’d fare in a fight with 3 pit bulls? I’m a normal sized dude but I still like my chances against domesticated dogs unless they have rabies.
Remember back in the myspace days, when people would come over and ask to use your PC to check myspace? I had an edgelord friend who you'd turn your back on for 2 mins at a party and he'd be trying to show everyone gore on weird greyweb sites.
The crime scene photos from a burgular hopping a pit owner's fence are the most fricked up things I've ever seen. The only meat on left on the guy's face was at the edges. One of his arms was skinned to the bone. The pit had one gouge to its forehead where the dude managed to get a finger between himself and vicious, snarling death.
You against 3 motivated pits? You might as well go fight sharks in water.

Link us up some stories of them killing or maiming someone.
What’s your pitt’s name by the way?

"KCCI went to speak with the owner of the dogs on Monday, but he was hostile to our crew, yelling obscenities and telling them to go away before walking into his home."
So, looks like it wasn’t her dogs, most articles did not make that clear.

oh don't worry, we didn't. he was a very sweet doggo for a long time, but we were always cautious when littles were around him.

Just a note regarding how tough it is going to be for the family. On the basis of this obituary, it appears as she is the mother to four young children who will also suffer from her disability for the rest of their lives.

Pretty sure the data doesn’t support them on the same list as a pit bull, but I have been wrong in the past.

You should see my freezer.
ETA are dogs really "deceased?" How far down the food chain do you have to go before that description becomes ridiculous?
