84-year-old run over after tripping in Baton Rouge grocery store parking lot, dies

An 84-year-old was killed Monday morning after she tripped and fell in the parking lot of the Albertsons on College Drive and was run over by a car, Baton Rouge Police said.
Louise Calloway tripped on a raised portion of concrete shortly before 10 a.m., according to a news release. The driver of a 2015 Volkswagen Beetle did not notice her lying on the ground and ran over her, the release said. Calloway died at the scene.
Detectives are investigating, but charges are not expected, police said.

That’s the only time I have run over stuff. Never people. Just garbage cans, mailboxes , stumps, logs and a myriad of other stuff.
