We looked good again. We are a totally different team with Cook at the helm, Wright and Rogers shot well, and Will Baker woke up and contributed, so all in all a nice win. Our offense looks so much more fluid.

Well, they scored well is what I'm saying I guess.
We are definitely not a team of sharpshooters, but with Cook back we at least look like a normal offensive team.
Those droughts we were going into without a PG1 to give us a spark were hard to watch. The last six quarters have been better than before.

Just love coming back to look at the idiots posts on here. Maybe sometime soon the morons on here will realize this is a different team with a legit PG. They outplayed TX in second half and played like they should against Lamar. Hell even the announcers recognize this.

They played their best game in quite some time last night (even though they weren't very efficient offensively). Yes, the level of the opponent has to be taken into account. But is was nice to see them play relatively well from start to finish.
Was it just a flash in the pan that came about because Lamar has 20 turnovers? Or was it a sign of better play in general? Hopefully the latter.
The first 6 games of SEC play are probably the best chance for them to pick up a few conf. wins (though they may only be favored in 1 of those games). If they can't grab a few there, the middle 1/3rd of the SEC schedule is rough
