Well Underwood is going to command top dollar. I think he chooses the good guys in a few weeks.

We've beat out a lot of schools for a lot of players. Ones that are known to break bank such as Georgia, Texas A&M, Texas, etc.
This year?

I did a quick scan of the recruits and their offers a couple days ago and it didn’t seem that Texas, Georgia or Alabama were serious about any of the players LSU signed this year. The ones they wanted they got.

NIL money is being paid to Orgeron and his coaching staff to sit at the house and chase tail

That's funny.
That means that maybe if we get 2 of 3 they play in 2026 at best. No chance LSU fans are waiting until then for success.

Too many people mistake not playing the game for not being able to play the game.

Well, there are the types of people who spend a ton of money and get a small return. They don't really care, it's like charity to them.

There are people who are more discretionary with their spending. They are just more frugal. They'll spend it, but they want a larger return.

They start with the same amount of money, spend different amounts and somehow end with the same amount of money. Which group is right?

LSU is in the second control group.

So are we going to ignore

PJ Woodland
C.J. Jackson
Caden Durham
Weston Davis
Gabriel Reilford
Tey'drez Green
Ju'juan Johnson

None of those teams were serious about them?

Last I checked we were a top 5-10 program in terms of revenue and just signed our coach to one of the biggest contracts in CFB history

By what mechanism does this money get to recruits? This has nothing to do with NIL.

University of Texas’s Clark Field Collective rented out a famous restaurant in the FQ for the Sugar Bowl, and to be invited you have to write a check for $250k that goes toward NIL. They had over 200 boosters write checks as of last week.

For the mathematically challenged, that is over $50,000,000.00

Let that sink in.

Rules and limits are coming. No way it doesn’t get reeled in.

Many forget that NIL means that college athletes have the right to be employed solely because of who they are.

They can be influencers, advertisers, promoters or anything else. Many of us who have not experienced other places, do not recognize how LSU idolizes its winners. There are very few like us. The NIL opportunity for our athletes is tough to match.

You may have a point but it’s no secret La is a poor state with relatively small population. Is what tis

Mississippi is smaller, poorer and has two SEC programs. These aren’t excuses. You just have to organize and get everyone working together.

Gonna get downvoted into oblivion but we are 1000% behind when it comes to NIL. Ole Miss is all of the sudden murdering recruitment. Kiffin got on his boosters arse to pony up more $$$ and it’s getting them the big time recruits. Hate to say it but I don’t see this happening with our football program anytime soon because our coach doesn’t believe in getting into bidding wars over players…
