I'm still going to say it for my own sanity. I'm not so much interested in stats for a DT, but was he all conference? In that Big XII, if he wasn't all-conference, I don't know for certain that he's starter caliber on an average LSU D line. That isn't the kind of guy to throw money at....

Because you'll start having good DTs telling you they want $3 M or they're leaving. It will happen, but you don't want to send the message that you'll bankroll people in the portal. No, the message you want to send is that the ones you recruited are the priorities....
