You’re 40 minutes west of me. Each morning there’s been chasing going on here. Mainly young bucks.

I’m in a thick tree so I’m not swaying. Must have missed the wind report.

I’m 15 miles south of you. Seeing some sign on camera but it’s been dead this morning.

I’m 12 miles NW of him . There’s been little to no daytime movement here. We are seeing a few scrapes and lots of nighttime activity. One of the big bucks we were hoping to see was killed last week about a 1/4 mile down the road. My son saw the other big one night before last when he was riding back home from hunting on the other side of our property. Will try again tomorrow.

Same here, nothing moving. I was hoping the big rain forecast for this afternoon would have the deer moving but I didn't factor in this crazy wind. My original plan was to stay in the stands until 10:30 but I will be back at camp well before then.

New spot, up an oak about 40 yards south of the Duck River. Mix of cedars and hardwoods, lanes to see but also done concealment. Spooked some buzzards about 150 yards west on my way in, so something used to live here.

Cold and wet
Tent stand on a ridge top overlooking thinned out forest at edge of thick bedding. I love hunting in or right after a light rain.

Good luck all
