Michigan was definitely physically better. That being said Washington play calling was reminiscent of Les Miles. Nothing creative kept try the same simple plays that were ineffective.

Damn right. At least we’re not guaranteed to face the goat every year. DeBoer might be solid, but he’s not Saban or Kirby. I’ll take it.

Ideal scenario. Maybe they will Nebraska themselves into mediocrity.

I gave two shits who their new coach was going to be. Why? Not Saban. The war is over

Washington offense looked like Les Miles was calling the plays.

That would be Michigan

I agree he wasn't their first choice, but I still think he's a good coach. Is he good enough to survive swimming with the sharks in the SEC, we will soon find out!

Life in the PAC 12 is like swimming with the minnows, so now everything is like magnified 1000 times and not everyone is made for that, especially when you're following the greatest coach of all time.

Some might say we did too though.
Riley didn’t want us.
It’s working out great though.

The calls during their games will now be more blatant.

Weird thing to hold onto. I didn’t want them getting Norvell, but this guy isn’t a slouch.

Is it true he’s going to be making more than Saban?

According to the guys on Cover 3 podcast, after the first 10 games in each of his three stints, DeBoer has gone 80-3 as a head coach. I don’t care where you coach, that’s silly.

Bama NIL has a ways to go, and he’s unproven in the SE, but you can’t tell me the guy can’t coach.

But, by all accounts, they got a good one. If he’s successful the first few years, he’s young, and could continue their success for a long time.

Now, with that said, I hope it ends up not being a cultural fit, and they crash and burn.

Guess we will see.
Geaux Tigers!!!
He almost blew it against Texas.

They outsmarted themselves by not hiring Kiffin who is going to promptly beat them for the next five seasons.
