1. They've vilified and alienated the demographic that is most willing and effective in service. That being patriotic white men who like guns. Army is 80% men, 70% white. This of course was racist and not equitable. We needed more pink haired theys who are literally shaking right now.

Can’t imagine anyone being brainwashed enough at this point to risk losing their life for such follies as Ukraine, Israel, Iraq, Somalia, or any other ridiculous place that American leadership wastes time and resources on. All so the elite class can make another dollar. No thanks.

Not veterans. Active soldiers. It's fricking insane. My job works with Army guys downrange and we would talk about that every now and then.

Exactly, they've alienated their traditional target rich recruiting base.. Many of which from multi-generational families of military service..who now say.. No more..never again.
