God damn these game wardens are dweebs. I can’t believe these guys have as much power as they do.

Watched some show a few times about game wardens up in Montana and Wyoming. Those guys know their stuff and do some investigating. Hike up to remote areas, check licenses, work with hunters and landowners, etc. Pretty solid.

I believe that the power given to game wardens is the single most un-American thing going. No way it’s constitutional

No, it’s propaganda. This is the quality entertainment the La film tax credit gets us (in La obvi’ly.

I watched one episode of Louisiana Law, and got pissed.
Game Wardens boarded the fishing boat of a guy raking oysters. That's tough work, if you could imagine.
Well, the guy didn't have his burlap sacks of oysters covered by a tarp, which means they could be potentially contaminated by bird shite. According to Louisiana Law, they had to be discarded. They made the guy empty about 10 sacks of oysters overboard. Goodness gracious, I got unreasonably furious watching that.
Still pisses me off.

They are all dicks on the show. I can only imagine how they are when the camera isn’t on them

Gives me a bad attitude toward justice.

My nephews love those shows.
Some of those situations have to be staged for TV. In fact, I think its fair to say they are.
At the least, they probably tell them if they go through the process on camera they will not issue them a ticket or some shite because if I was stopped and a tv crew is with the police/game warden, I am pretty sure it would be within my rights to not agree to be on camera for a TV show. I could be wrong. Of course some of those people might be too dumb to realize that or they are just excited they will be on TV.
But you would be allowing them to get free content from you. Its no different that any show on TV in which everyone in the show is paid.

My wife watches it. I would imagine most of the events that get you angry are staged. 99% of jobs are too dull for anyone to watch. Just got to ramp it up for the cameras.
I assume in a state as big as Texas they are probably back up law enforcement also.

I saw a dude I started college with on the show one time. Had no clue whatever happened to him after he dropped out.

Those Lone Star Law wardens piss me off. I’ve never seen anything like that kind of hassling in real life when people are just out crabbing or fishing on their own. Hell, even the Asians who go gonzo on the jetties - I’ve never seen them hassled by wardens.
I suspect they play it up for the cameras befor an extended lunch break.

So. Texas Game Warden lady calls me when she sees an unfamiliar vehicle in my pasture- making sure no trespassers or poachers. Number one in my book!

I went to high school with a retired Major from the Monroe office and did a men’s retreat with the Greenjeans that got shot in between Sterlington and Strop City. Needless to say, I think, no make that know, both would write me a ticket for probably walking incorrectly if that was an enforcement issue. I watch thinking one day I will catch one of them on the LA version but the closest I have seen to Mecca is busting some felon for shooting deer in Columbia.
I have been checked by the married couple that are Greenjeans over here in Texas multiple times at our duck camp in Anahuac. They have been on the TX show several times, usually working High Island and Galveston.
