That's depressing to learn you have kids or anything to do with them

He’s been good at fielding hard hit ground balls, but his receiving on throws in the dirt and on pickoffs has been dreadful

Is Travinski worse at first? I mean, Jones struggles to catch the ball.

Then you haven’t watched the past 4-5 games where he has 3-4 picks with no errors

And he's hitting home runs. That's what first basemen do.

It wasn’t the best throw in the world, but Jones has got to scoop that up.

I've seen every single game, the guy is without a doubt not even average defensively when it comes to receiving throws his way. He's made a few flash plays with his glove fielding a hit but the bad has more than outweighed the good when you consider how many throws to first he has to deal with compared to a flash play with a ball hit his way. I get he's still learning but its been a fairly rough start there overall. That was a very easy play and somehow he just totally botched it. His scoops leave a bit to be desired on a consistent basis.

From someone that has watched every game this season, he also has not been good at first. He has not been picking the ball well at all. Hell, he didn’t even have to pick the last one and still missed.
