One of goats

he could dominate a game from the dt position, a pure freak.

As good as Warren sapp was, during his peak, donald was even more dominant

Seems smart. He’s been considering it for a few years now so it probably isn’t a shock to the Rams.

Getting out with his health, he’s made a ton of money and has his best days ahead of him. Surprised more people don’t take this approach.

You ever met or been some where and seen former nfl players???

Many have limps, are gimps, fingers that face different ways, major arthritis in hands, legs, etc

Please tell me this is real, that would have been like Les Miles asking who #15 was for Florida.

The Athletic reported it in a postmortem they did on Urban Meyer's run with the Jags. He said it isn't true. I choose to believe it's real because 1) it's funny 2) frick Urban Meyer.

Your reading comprehension ain’t so good is it? I quoted someone saying it’s premature and I disagreed with them. You must’ve not read the rest of my post also cuz I was talking about how smart of a move it is for Donald and that I was surprised more don’t do it. But then again maybe you didn’t understand cuz you need to get hooked on phonics.

Another Western Pennsylvania native who's gonna waltz into Canton on the 1st ballot. Crazy how that area has produced as many HoF'ers(across all sports, but mostly football) as it has.

It was a huge population center and predominantly blue collar. So what you have is a massive population of historically hard working, tough people. If you view it though that lens I guess it makes it less surprising that so many great FB players come from there.

It was 40 years ago. It's still blue collar and the people are hard working and tough minded, but that entire area has hemorraged population for my entire lifetime (43 in June). So you're not going to see the influx of players from that area in the future that we've had in the past

He was inches from retiring this time last year. Literally had the letter drafted but was talked into playing one more year.

He probably enjoys walking without pain and not getting his bell rung.

Made stacks of cash so why not get out?

I know a former NFL player that got his knees destroyed and is basically disabled. At least he was in long enough to get NFL retirement.

Aaron Donald is Lyle Alzado's mixed son... Change my mind.

They probably had the same training regimens, too...

Didn't he publicly ponder retiring after their superbowl win?

Many NFL player spend their contract money like they going to make it forever. They don’t invest and have enormous spending habits. Adrian Peterson is a great example. Dude is basically broke and made over 100 million.

Hell of a player.

Might I add he had zero sacks all time against the Eagles OL. Fact of the day.
