So you are either not reading anything else I have written in the thread or you are not understanding. Yes, via the 2020 Census (which is a survey) 168m eligible voters said they were registered to vote, 38.5m who are eligible to vote did not answer that question. So no, there are far more than 168m registered voters in the US.
