I don't think it's an issue of having more or less money. It's about priorities and where to put them. I believe LSU had substantial NIL money available to keep Wingo and Smith, now they can reallocate that money.

It just depends if they think Blidi is the guy or not. I would expect them to pony up for two potential starters, plus maybe less for a depth piece.

That's kind of a difficult question. Overall, the Auburn war chest was bigger faster, but LSU has been catching up. The overall really doesn't matter if we're fighting over 2 or 3 players, both have enough, it just depends on who would pay more. LSU isn't going to pay $1M for a rotational DT no matter how bad the need it. It just doesn't make sense. Sure, you want to win, but at the same time, it's also about the future.
