Although this isn’t a positive post. I think it’s the most positive post I’ve seen you make. Crediting the offense as all American. You sunshine pumper you.

Maybe 2 or 3 freshmen walk onto campus and grab a starting position on defense? We find out in several months.

Cannot stress enough penn is not looking good I’ve watched him get thrown out of almost every play and the last time led to that TD. Shite

That's because he isn't very good

I’m afraid we are looking at another very long year on defense. Not really surprising since we did very little to change anything.

Let’s wait until they play someone other than our defense

Don't need to. This o line is returning everyone except the center. And they were stout last year. This is the entire line's money yr minus the center

Thought we made some coaching changes. Guess I dreamed that

holy shite. we’re in trouble again if we don’t score on every possession this year

I'm more of a glass half full type of guy... maybe our D is looking so pathetic is because our Offense might be the best ever to play the game?

Someone has to beat out Penn and Ryan right? It’s frustrating because everyone knows Weeks is the better option at LB.

Mostly sophomores and freshmen in and out on both sides of the ball. Collin’s looked ok but Hurley stole the show. Swann ok.

Hate to say it because he’s from my neck of the woods, but Todd is losing the punt competition and may wind up processed. Just don’t know what happened to that kid. He should be fully healed and now it’s either mental, mechanical or both.

its a mystery with the wm punter

I am more concerned with defense dominating the offense in a spring game because the defense is just base scheme with guys shuttling in and out and playing new positions trying out a bunch of stuff

we have a long way to go obviously, this offense dominating this defense today is what expected TBH

Usually defenses are ahead of the offense in the spring. Offense has to get timing down etc. Maybe veteran offense and new scheme defense could be something a little different.

It’s a new DC and staff. The offense is going to match a lot of what they’ve already been using to keep the QB and oline playing fast and confident.

Collins slower to process at QB than Swann right now

He might have more on his mind. In his second year maybe he has more of the playbook to cover. Spring games don’t show much besides raw talent; they are circuses to make fans happy.

The players are out of position,
What do you expect from a new defensive installation in a spring game? The offense should be way ahead of the defense right now.

Relying on Raymond to bring in top db's makes me nervous. Really tired of using the portal to bring in guys that would have never touched the field for LSU 5 to 10 years ago. We really need to get back to the days of P Peterson,J Adams, Honeybadger etc roaming the LSU backfield. We used to be called DBU for a reason.
