Boosie clearly doesn’t understand any of this so it’s a good thing he’s not the coach or LSU would’ve just forked over millions of dollars to average dlinemen and would be willing to risk our other star athletes/recruits leaving because of it. ...

Other than maybe UGA, idk of any elite defenses since that year or a little before. You just don’t see the elite defenses today like you did since the 2011 LSU/Bama defenses and the years before that. ...

And with the experience they have, none of them were difference makers at their previous schools. So what makes you think Kelly should have broke the bank on these guys to all of a sudden be difference makers in the SEC when they couldn’t even do it in their own conference?

None of the guys y’all have been clamoring over have proven they are SEC caliber. I mean for goodness sakes Demonic had a whopping 2 assisted tackles total against the only two decent teams he faced last year. And you wanted Kelly to fork out 1.5 million or more for that?!? LOL...

It doesn’t matter because Simon wouldn’t get much playing time anyway with Durham and Berry there which are obviously better backs.
He would be good for added depth though when the other two get tired I guess ...

Idk about this year but teams like Vanderbilt, Florida & Wake has had 3 very good weekend starters in recent years. Wake just last year. So it can be done in college. Just really hard to do.
LSU could’ve had that this year but Hurd had other plans ...
