I don't care about the rationality of getting a better pick.
I'm fricking sick of not being in the playoffs, and if you give a shite about the players on this team you'll want them to make it. Too many dudes busted arse all fricking year to go from the fricking 4th seed two fricking weeks ago to taking a fricking vacation in April

To be fair, there's only like 5.5 players that I really give a shite about (Zion, CJ, Herb, Jonas, Jose and sometimes Trey) and one of them is out until next season.

I care about the team as a whole more than the individual players to be fair. You’re right in the short term view; long term view the higher draft pick and major changes need to be made. That happens if we miss the playoffs not make them.

you should... it's how you build a better roster, so you can actually BE in the playoffs, rather than having to PLAY IN to the playoffs...
i feel your frustration.... we all do.... but the best interest of the team, right this moment, is losing friday, missing the playoffs and drafting 7 slots higher.... gives you that much more collateral to construct a stronger, deeper roster

bro, we all are..... this "superfan" shite you trying to pull is all fine and dandy, but it ain't gonna make the situation any better... we are in the position we are in, it is what it is.... the short sighted "i just wanna make the playoffs" is just that... short sighted... long term, its better to build a better roster, hopefully get a better head coach, and then proceed with Zion as our foundation to build upon and around....

you can thank Willie fricking Green for that... he's one of the worst gameday coaches in the league, and if we don't move on from him, we will be in the EXACT SAME SPOT for as long as he is here.... this is our ceiling with Willie Green as our HC

This isn’t supposed to be a particularly great draft either.
I believe it is supposed to be deep in bigs but not really ones with star potential. More like supporting cast.
If so, I don’t see a big bonus to missing the playoffs in order to move up slightly.
