Not as much as Indiana does. They allow you to use deadly force on a cop, if the circumstances warrant it.

As it should be.

That's not a body slam.

Big to do about nothing.

Irrelevent.

I'm supposed to pretend "woe, for the grace of god, that could be MY child!", and suddenly the facts of the case change?

Sorry, it doesn't work like that.

I'd explain further, but it's clear I'm dealing with emotional Karens who've already staked out their territory.

I'm good.

try again idiot, the video supplied by OP, that you apparently refused to watch, shows the door was open for more than a full minute while they had a conversation.

you have no idea what she said or if she refused to cooperate, nor does anyone here.

there is a lot here on both sides that makes no sense

but at the end of the day, you must comply with the law even when they are in the wrong, then you sort it all out later

next time you get pulled over, you refuse to cooperate, and you will get the same treatment

"body slamming"
C'mon, that's creative writing, first of all. Cop dragged her out onto the ground & cuffed her.

There was no body slam.
Yeah, I was expecting some WWF action. That was comparatively-weak. Probably excessive for the circumstances, but "body slam?" LoL

“I’ve got a bodycam cam on…”

That didn’t end like he imagined.

I was under the impression that white people aren’t handled like that by the cops.

You have no clue about the absolute scum that law enforcement encounter on a daily basis. I don’t know how they do—especially now with people like you and Dex actively trying to destroy their careers.

This officer in the video got rough with the suspect and lost his job for it, isn’t that sufficient punishment? Is a “lynch mob” really warranted?

You have no idea what I know.

Also, an 18 year old girl that is 5'6" and 100 pounds sitting in a car isn't exactly a threat short of showing a gun. Which she obviously did not do.

eta-The cop reached in and released her seatbelt. She was zero threat to him.

Keep licking those boots.

If it keeps him from being hired by another department it is 100% warranted.

What the hell is wrong with you? Did you miss the part about the cop being fired? You act like you and the cop are on the right side of this matter. Maybe you can donate to his legal fund. He's going to need it.

I know you would have a totally different mindset if you spent a few minutes on patrol with a police officer in any major city.

There are a bad apples in every organization. Yet we never see all the other interactions where law enforcement show remarkable restraint when dealing with absolute human scum.

Look at the video of the officers in Washington that got shot at by the pedo at a hotel who was there to meet underage girls for sex? These are the types of people the police have to deal with. I’m not going to demonize all officers b/c of a few overblown incidents where an officer overreacts.

Who in the hell told you that?

If the cops pull you over and tell you they want to search your car are you going to step out and tell them go for it?

How about your house? They knock on your door and and tell you they are coming inside to question you and search your house?
