1000 years from now if they dig up Bruce Jenner's body, they'll be able to tell he was a man. Was always a man. It's really not even controversial. The label will long since have melted away. Along with his balls.

So, tell me... Why are you devoting every minute of your lives slapping the wrong labels on cans and trying to fricking convince me that carrots are peas?

So here's the problem with the analogy.
There aren't really carrots in that can. The owner of the can just thinks or feels like what's inside the can is carrots. But it's actually full of peas just like it's supposed to be.
And this is the most destructive part of the trans stuff. The author of the post obviously thinks that the feelings in the equation are what are immutable and unchangeable instead of the physical reality of the situation.
That feelings actually turn peas into carrots.
