Trying to find a light bulb to screw into a lamp that is either rechargeable or runs on battery.

Where we have one of our lamps is impossible to run a cord to the nearest outlet. I’ve tried a few of these bulbs and they are trash (barely put off any light), has anybody had any luck with any of these?

I think you'd have better luck with a battery powered lamp vs light bulb. Or running a new outlet where you need it is what I would do.

I do not think you will find anything quality for the price. Much cheaper to install new outlet.

Same. Lamp in living room can’t get power because the outlet is in the floor underneath the rug.

GE makes LED bulbs with battery backup that lasts up to 5 hours.

It was kind of funny how I found out about these bulbs. My sister passed away recently and I was staying at her house in Gulf Shores cleaning out her possession before selling the house. The power went out except for 2 lamps in the living room. I thought something bad has happened to the breaker box or the power drop to the house. I checked the breaker box and found nothing wrong. I called the neighbor and he confirmed his power was also off. I told the neighbor something weird is going two of lamps work. I can turn them on and off. Not sure whats going on. Thinking out loud I told the neighbor maybe my sister has some fancy kinda light bulbs I don't know about. She was an electrical engineer and loved tech stuff. Sure enough I took one of the bulbs out and it was heavier than a normal bulb and that's when I found out about these bulbs.

I thought some black magic voodoo was going on for a little while

I bought several for my house and they work as advertised during a short power outage.
