The "furbaby" epidemic has gotten out of control in the past decade. Even this board is apparently ate up with it.

If a working dog won't work, you get rid of it. Usually on a farm that doesn't mean "neutering it and finding it a loving home" It means a bullet and those expenses of a dog can be then used on one that earns its keep.

I guess people realize that if a dog's life is "spared", then it will need to be fed by killing other animals for as long as the life of the "saved" dog?

If the dog don't work riiiiggghhhhttt, kill im. I got a faum to run. This ain't no doggie park. Kill his mangy arse. I'd cut Lassie's throat over a perfectly good chicken.

That's farm life boys. You city slickers keep petting yo doggie. I'll keep Killin em. Cause I'm a man. I'm a man with a ranch. And ranchin means Killin no good dirty dogs.

Dogs gotta work. The wife gotta work. The kid need to clean that room with no sass. Everybody better work. Or I'll kill you to.
