I’d be curious to see a Palestinian version highlighting civilian life in Gaza for the six months since Hamas attacked.

It blows my mind, both sides have a ton of guilt/blame/you name it, on them… but one side always seems to have the bully pulpit in America. The other does not.

Why? What would it prove?

One of those sides is governed by an internationally recognized terrorist organization.

Probably over 80% of one side’s civilians support the terrorists of Hamas and shelter them. Life should be difficult for them until they decide Hamas needs to go.

Elon tweeted recently that we’ve moved to the point where “Weak/oppressed = right.” It’s hard to disagree. I don’t buy the Ben Shapiro “Israel gave Palestine what they wanted. This is all their fault.”

But much like Ukraine, eventually you need to realize we’re just killing our own people by not coming to grips that we’re at war with a much stronger force.

Israel can kick rocks for the most part and has done terrible things but Palestine is a pathetic excuse for a “country” governed by monsters, kept in power by idiots.

In the last 100 years we had genocides that weren’t even wartime (Mao, Stalin Rwanda, Bosnia) that were way worse and less provoked. Yemen, Myanmar, and Darfur are in the middle of genocides right now, they just don’t know how to market as well as Palestine.

They are people made in God’s own image and I want better for them but they’re simply incapable of anything but being a thorn. I pray for a resolution and healing but I just don’t see it as long as Hamas survives. May the Lord surprise me with his mercies.

Maybe they shouldn’t have started this war. Just spitballing…

frick right off. Israel was attacked and horrible atrocities were carried out by the attackers. They respond by attacking the attackers and you (apparently) and these idiot protesters take the side of those who initiated everything.

The side that they are taking hates us and everything of the “west.” If they had their way, they would exterminate us from the earth. Bully pulpit my arse.

This is a genuine question: why the frick would you care which side has the “bully pulpit?”

To put the choice in simple terms, one side would gleefully murder you and everyone you care about with extreme prejudice, and the other would not. This is not some splitting hairs, “both are bad” situation. Hamas, along with the entire extremist subset of Islam, is very explicit in their desire to exterminate infidels. Israel by no means has a flawless track record on human rights, but they do show some degree of care for human life. If they didn’t, Gaza would have been 100% leveled by this point.
