I'm ready for him to go as well BUT...

If we oust him before the election and give the House Speakership to Jeffries, it would be one of the biggest acts of dumbfrickery I've ever seen. MTG and the rest of these people need to chill out with this motion to vacate Johnson.

When you govern you have to leave the loon fringe behind
If you feel left out......well there you are

Jeffries already said the Dems will protect Johnson as speaker.

Make Johnson own being saved by the Dems.

Of course he said that. And if MTG or any other Republican believes Jeffries is telling the truth, then they will get what they deserve. And we will be fricked.

Republicans frick up on their own. They don't need help from the left to do that.

I hope every republican votes to remove Johnson, and then bow down to Margorie Green. That would really drive home the key point

Did you see the PC with MTG and Thomas Massie yesterday? She's daring Hakeem Jeffries to save Mike Johnson like he said the democrats would. It's going to be a wild week next week, that's for sure.

The funny part is she was the voice of reason the first time around and said stick with McCarthy, find other battles to fight.

Anyone. Literally anyone they put in there will do the exact same thing. Makes no difference because once they take the seat, they get to find out about how the game is really played. They thought they knew but they will find out truly what it means behind door #1 to have all this world has to offer or unspeakable horror behind door #2. Which would you choose. If you pick door #1 they own you. If you pick door #2 they own you either way.

She's such a dumb bitch.

Say they do kick him out. They have a one vote majority.

Who the hell are they going to get enough votes to confirm?

If he and they stood absolutely staunchly on hardcore “principle” and sat down with their arms crossed and bottom lip poked out and refused to talk unless everyone gave into their principles, well quite frankly the country would come to a grinding halt and the government would cease to function in any way whatsoever. And let’s stop for a moment and consider that concept of “principles”……whose principles are we talking about here? Johnson’s? Mine? Yours? 10 million other people’s own personally tailored principles?

Everyone seems to think that there’s one correct set of principles, and I think we can obviously say that everyone thinks that one correct set is their own. Their own singular set of principles, as opposed to 10 million other different sets of principles. At the end of the day Johnson’s job is to govern and provide for the common welfare of the people. And seeing as how he/they aren’t quite feasibly going to be able to settle on a single set of principles that satisfies us all, the next most rational and legitimate and logical thing he/they can do is make the best decisions he/they can that are ultimately the best for the most amount of people. We shouldn’t be surprised when as an obvious result of that reality that some or even many of those decisions might not exactly meet with our complete satisfaction.

**None of that’s directed at you or anyone else specifically, just very broad and overarching food for thought.

Telling the people who elected you “I will do X” then doing the opposite of X isn’t governing

Its funny that people on here still believe there is a difference between Johnson and Jefferies. What left wing policies is Johnson holding back? What right wing policies is Johnson pressing forward with?

Oh I can’t exactly agree with that. By the nature of certain things they may overlap in some various ways on a very limited set of matters, but I’d be of the opinion that there are vast differences in their views and positions and perspectives and policies in most areas.
