Uhh. It’s clear on the video. He parked diagonally across the lanes.

There was enough room for him to get around the cop in the right lane if he weren't driving at such a high speed.

A speeding atv that was there illegally that the cop was told to go investigate and make sure the public was safe from the idiots.

Mission accomplished.

Give the man a medal and let the cop haters cry about it.

Based on what evidence?

We have went from “He didn't block both lanes!! Can you not see?!?” To “well he had a few feet!!!”

Progress.

I am against police chases except in circumstances of immediate danger.

We've had cops kill innocent people b/c they were chasing a shoplifter, we've had cops hit an innocent family and kill the father b/c they were a chasing a car thief.
Those chases were unnecessary, and were ridiculous.

In this case, we had an idiot who clearly was posing an immediate threat to other people on the jogging path. He also was unable to drive worth a shite, as the cop left him enough room to stop or go around. Given his piss-poor abilities it is very likely he would've hit someone up the path.

The cop was obviously hoping he would stop, or go around, as no one likes taking a chance on getting injured in a wreck.

The officer did exactly the right thing.

You apparently have absolutely NOT read my first posts

I sure did. You said

Yes the ATV was in the wrong by being on the walking-bike path. There should have been consequences.

Followed by 7 (no exaggeration) paragraphs of bullshite and stupid hypotheticals to try to paint this officer as the at fault party. Then 4 PAGES (again, no exaggeration) worth of back and forth of you trying to un-justify (not even sure this is a word but I’m goin with it) the officer’s actions. You are a clown

When they have to resort to making shite up it’s time for them to stop.

And don’t even entertain the stupid hypotheticals.

And he keeps asking about a law.

It would likely be a police policy on how to handle stupid fricks illegally operating atvs.

But those policies would be pointless when trying to save lives. Judgement calls would be taken into emergency situations

Unless the argumentative goof is saying there should be a law on how to handle idiots breaking the law on atvs on pedestrian and bike trails while traveling at a high rate of speed on trails with blind spots and people with baby strollers.

Maybe the legislature can get right on that and prosecute this evil cop.

Pure idiocy

Dude, I have no dog in this fight. But as a favor to you, just letting you know. When I read every single one of your posts, I literally cringe.

Friendly advice, log off for the day and maybe come back on Monday when you've had a chance to compose yourself. No offense, seriously. I just doubt you realize how deep you've gotten into sounding, ummm, kinda mentally challenged?

No I didn’t. Not paint him the at fault party. No where.. no how have I tried to lay the blame solely on the cop. And I have shown multiple examples of what would be considered good to some people, even life saving, but still not legal.

All I’m asking if it is legal if it were you or me that blocked this guy.. based on what we saw as possible danger.. and seriously injured this guy… would it have been lawful?

I see a lot of emotion rage… but so far… not a clear answer.

Based on the emotion rage.. this should be a clear cut “here’s the law”.

It wasn't any of us though. It was an on duty police officer.

No kidding? What time in the video does it show the dimensions of the car and the space in the rear?

Because this whole board has fricking united to try to explain how fricking retarded you are. Literally EVERYONE here has been trying to explain how far off you are ITT, but you won’t fricking listen. All of your hypotheticals and all of the examples you try to get someone to explain are completely irrelevant because they aren’t the same situation. Not even fricking close. I’m not even going to try to entertain your bullshite or try to explain laws or policies to you for a NUMBER of reasons.

Take off your ‘I’m always right on the internet’ glasses and look at this shite from a common sense POV (that’s the first thing you asked for in this thread, remember?)

This cop more than likely saved innocent lives. frick whatever laws or policies are on the books. The guy deserves to be commended for his quick thinking and successful actions, not to be called out by pencil neck retards like you on the internet. Go frick yourself (check the laws first to make sure you can jack off on Fridays)
