Tell me you whacko is racism that big of a deal? Tell me how exactly? Why is the Black race picked out as special? The record of Blacks shows they commit at least 70% of all crime. And an even greater percentage of violent crime. Why wouldn't one form a poor opinion? Practically the first interaction I had with Blacks when I got back from overseas was to be robbed by two of them. Pretty much made it hard for me to trust them after that. I would rather discriminate than be robbed how about you?

Yeah, but they did make monkey noises. At least, one of them did.
That's a fact. The rest is just a hypothetical excuse, just like the posters on here right after it happened were making, trying to blame liberals and everyone else.
The guy made an unmistakably racist gesture. No one framed him. No one put words in his mouth. No one took anything out of context. No one went back into his past and cancelled him for something he did 20 years ago.
No one did any of the things y'all keep claiming trying to find excuses for this guy.
He did it and he should have known better. Period. End of story. Recognizing that isn't carrying anyone's water, it's just being honest.

OM might be a conservative school in a conservative state, but make no mistake, its faculty and admins are card-carrying leftists.
They cannot let it lie or look the other way. How will they face their fellow leftists at the summer conferences? They will bend every rule and institutional policy to "make an example".
Those students turned out to mock the protestors and at least a few of them took it a little too far.
The punishments will be severe and public.
Literally, the only way this doesn't happen is if some lawyers with deep pockets threaten to sue the admins into oblivion. Universities are all about principles until a dollar is on the line.
