Exactly. Let’s not forget it was a NY judge who proclaimed “the 2nd Amendment doesn’t exist here”.

Precisely. They know a conviction will never hold up on appeal. They are only caring about making this look bad right up through November. Hell, if the trial was still on going and Biden wins I would not be surprised if they just drop the case all together.
