California farmland is the single largest food producer in the US. Kansas isn't even in the top 5. Though they are catching up in murders, pretty soon they might challenge louisana or mississippi for the crown!

Kansas has a budget surplus and feeds the entire nation. NYC does not have a food surplus and is reeling with debt and begging for help.

Do you know that there is a state called "New York" and a city called "New York"?

Son, once again, facts don't care about your feelings. But yeah, keep crying about the state of Kansas inflating its crime stats to... make it look worse than NY?

You already got caught giving out the wrong numbers - a lot like the government does. But sure, let's believe the numbers that you think are facts. I mean, after all, there are so many similar videos from places like Manhattan...Kansas. Every day someone is posting about getting a belt lasso and dragged through the streets surrounding Ft. Riley and all sorts of places.

Because it's factual. Chicago is just one of many large cities that have been mis reporting their crime for years.

Data: FBI, The Marshall Project; Map: Jared Whalen/Axios Visuals
The Chicago Police Department failed to report five months of its 2021 crime data to the FBI, according to a Marshall Project analysis shared with Axios.

Chicago is among 20% of cities that reported incomplete data. Another 40% reported no data at all.
Why it matters: This information gap makes it harder to analyze trends and fact-check claims politicians make about crime.

"It's going to be really hard for policymakers to look at what crime looks like in their own community and compare it to similar communities," Jacob Kaplan, a criminologist at Princeton University, told The Marshall Project.

Sort of like the fact the NYC took advantage of Biden’s new policy of not requiring PD’s to report crimes to the FBI…..read that again and tell me you want to stand behind your earlier statements.

The Marshall Project

Scroll down to the map…..then come back and eat crow son!

You know I really don't have a dog in this fight and I'm just sorta following along in the thread, but it always trips people out a little and even makes some folks angry when they find out the State of California is far and away our nation's largest agricultural producer.

Yeah Kansas would be in great shape without its farm subsidies

Meanwhile NY & California could drop them today and not miss a beat. And both have lower crime per capita than Kansas too. So feel free to apologize for your mistake and thank me for educating your dumb arse.

Oh they got water. They outlawed brushing you teeth and limited showers and bathing to once per week. I don’t even know if I’m joking or not. I think I actually may not be.

What does that have to do with the state of Kansas's crime reporting? Typical MAGA person, when the facts disagree with you, you just move the goalposts and meltdown all over the internet

From a site called FarmProgress Can't get the link to work.

What US states produce the most food? (Ranking 1-50)
California ranks first in the U.S. for agricultural cash receipts followed by Iowa, Texas, Nebraska and Illinois.

California, $58 billion
Iowa, $44.7 billion
Nebraska, $31.6 billion
Texas, $29.7 billion
Illinois, $27.9 billion
Minnesota, $26 billion
Kansas, $23.5 billion
Indiana, $18.3 billion
North Carolina, $16.8 billion
Wisconsin, $16.6 billion

Safe to say Cali is the biggest producer.

Oh, Ok. Well it's the highest ranking state in terms of agricultural output, and it outranks Kansas by $34.5 billion in agricultural output (Kansas has $23.5 billion of such output).

Chew on those stats and go frick yourself, moron.

Value of crops isn't an indicator of mouths fed. It indicates in part that they produce high value crops such as nuts and fruits, among other things. (at huge expense due to importing water).

Kansas has a shitfrickton more farmland and produces more grain than any state except North Dakota. I mean, what do you think feeds more people? Grains or almonds?

Kansas is in the top 10 for beef production. California isn't . Do you think more people eat beef, or California raisins?

Just throwing the first stat you googled doesn't prove shite.

Most of the area that California farmland is located on would be considered conservative red areas. You know those conservative farmers you hate so much. Those farmers largely feed our country. Also, when talking about murder rates compare specific red vs blue cities/areas. You will not like what you find. Most cities are run my democrats and it ain’t pretty.

They'll need to get way more black people if they want to do that.

Producer of revenue. Not tonnage. And probably not profits.

California farms are amazing, I've toured many. I've toured farms from Washington to Hawaii to California to Texas to Florida and in between.
