I'd imagine the job is going to Borrego. JJ isn't going to be respected by LBJ. It'll be a Nash situation all over again. The Lakers need an offensive X and Os guy.

JJ is an X’s and O’s kind of guy

And saying JJ wouldn’t be respected by Lebron is ridiculous, Lebron literally just started a podcast with JJ

You're comparing being on a podcast with being a coach for 82+ games. Nash was an X and Os guy and was a KD and Irving guy at the start. Failed miserably. Being an inexperienced first time coach is probably one of the hardest transition.

the main reason Jj is even being considered is because of his relationship with Lebron.

“Willie and BI being ‘allowed’ to ignore Borrego”. Man, you guys can come up with some interesting takes. That’s inventive- I’ll give you that. Nobody here knows of any Borrego ideas that were “ignored”. That’s pure projection…

As always, you'll be the last one to know or realize it. It is what it is.

I posted a pro pels talk tweet from Chaz specifically talking about this. Its not projection. Its coming from at the time a credentialed media source of the pels.

It's been said by more than just that guy

But it's not ra ra super positive, go Pels... so VOR thinks it HAS to be fake since he thinks everything in Pels land is just fine.

Why would the Lakers want to hire a coach that is disrespected by the star player? If Brandon wont listen, how can you coach AD and Bron? Evidently the Lakers did not find that article or haven't vetted JB. Is there a link to Brandon's refusal?

Trick question. Bron is the actual coach and the coach is there to serve as a scapegoat.

JB wasn’t the head coach and Willie allowed BI to do this. AD and Bron are mucher higher IQ players than BI. They don’t play inefficient basketball like BI does.

Per Jovan Boha who’s pretty much the Lakers guru, JJ Redick seems to be the favorite right now

There was talk on SiriusXm this morning that the other interviews are just a facade and that JJ was getting the gig.

Oh no, somebody disagreed with me. That means I need to bash them and take things personally

Aren't you the dude who had a multi page meltdown when I told you about BI making the team go away from Borrego ball, and now everyone sees and virtually all the Pels media outlets are saying the same?

Yea, I think that was you. Oops!

I don’t see Reddick having the kind of meteoric coaching success that Steve Kerr had as a first time coach.

I’m hoping the Pels make him cry like when LSU ended his NCAA career.

Well no. Kerr rode some superstars up. JJ would climbing aboard the down escalator.

No, but sweet deflection. I've never melted, not once. You can show me where I did, but you won't because you can't find it.

The "I know you are but what am I" defense, shockingly, did not work for you.

I hadn't seen your post admitting you were wrong when you melted down, weird. Can you link me to where you did concede I was correct? Make sure you answer that, don't deflect.
