Hoses and Hose Reels - Eley? Or other brands to consider?

I want to get at least one hose reel to mount to my house. Eley seems to be the most recommended based on searches. Are there other hose reels to consider?

What about hoses or nozzles? Any recommendations there?

Eley every day of the week. Buy once, cry once.

You won't be disappointed.

Get the hose, too. Stop researching, you've found the Holy Grail.

You will certainly cry. The hose reel, the hose, the quick connects, the nozzles - all top quality. All top of price range, but I have no regrets.

I just looked at the hose prices. Yea. I’m not sure I’m willing to spring for the hoses. The reels, I can deal with. But god damn. A rubber hose should last me a long damn time. Their hoses look like they’d piss me off.

Another vote for Eley hoses and reels. Worth it.

I prefer a hanger, hose reels suck and rolling one on a hanger is pretty easy. Maybe the Eley is worth $200+ but I will never find out.

We have Eley hose reels on both sides of the house. One of them started leaking ( i guess it was this winters freeze) so I called them to report it. She sent a replacement for the leaking one right away and sent another for the other side of the house just in case. Great customer service as well.

At my home back in Georgia, I bought one of the Giraffe reels with hose. A little pricy but that thing was awesome. I had it there for 7 years or so and not one single issue. I just installed two of them on our new home in Florida.

Zero issues with them.

I have a couple zero-G hoses that are nice and light weight.

I have three Eley hose reels and 4 of their hoses. They are fantastic and I've never found anything comparable.
