Gotta admit I didn't even know it was tonight. It does feel good to be a team not in the lottery discussion.

Yeah but in normal years I'd be forced into talking myself into one of these Frenchies

I know none of you care but this draft order will make trades incredibly interesting

ATL with the huge leap to number 1. Maybe make some interesting trade talks

Does it? How so?

We got swept and likely trading a major piece of our team.

Atlanta moving to 1 either has them making a huge trade for a star, or they will reset and trade both Trae and Murray

Are any of the guys near the top, like Clingan, Sarr, or Topic considered ready to go? Or would they need time to develop?

Atlanta, Houston, Detroit all have a decent chance to trade their picks. Maybe even SA

I see them trading for a star rather than doing a rebuild. If nothing else, the Spurs own their 2025 pick and can swap 2026 picks.

Time for the Pelicans to push for Murray/Okongwu package. Trae/Sarr are destined to be the pair going forward.

The Wiz have apparently taken over Charlotte’s spot as “fricking godawful but not godawful enough to get first overall.”

I thought about a trade for that pick but that roster is unbelievably bad.

I think Detroit will absolutely shop that 5 pick hard for a good all star fringe vet like BI.

This draft isnt great but Sheppard or Topic on a rookie deal would definitely help this team.

It's bad if you want a true superstar and a franchise player to build around. It's not necessarily bad for a team that wants a #2/#3 guy they can pair up with an already established franchise player.

BI for Duren is a legal trade. Which frankly I am shocked about. I guess renouncing Wiseman, Bagley, Fournier, etc, makes it possible.

If we got Duran and a first, what would we spend a $30m TPE on as part of any other moves?

Edit - Forgot that Bagley is on The Wiz’ shittastic roster, not the Pistons.

From Detroit's perspective, doing something like that is suicide. Ivey, Cade, and BI all needs the ball in their hands to be effective. They already have issues maximizing Ivey since he's at his best with the ball in his hands. Imagine adding Ingram to the mix.

I’d love that trade. But are they any potential all stars in this draft?
