Lafayette is under a tornado watch but not BR.
Probably not done with the weather in BR tonight yet.

I opened the door just curious and it almost hit me in the face. That wind was insane.

I’m in the meadows right here on 42 and it got a little hairy for a minute. Good thing there isn’t a tree in sight

Looks like everyone in Port Allen North of I-10 lost power.

Yeh. I thought this was one line of storms. I can’t take more of the EMS going off anymore. Freaks the toddler out and then I have 45 questions about tornados.

Yep. Went off and on a few times and has now been out about 15 minutes.
Lot of wind. Tons of rain. I’ll admit, I’ve got some PTSD with flooding during storms like this. Glad it’s died down some.

I'm talking about what the radar shows. There are storms building back towards Lafayette headed East.

Power grid can't take 30mph+ gusts I suppose. 2024 I thought they would improve on this "technology" by now
Edit: I was outside for most of it didn't seem like it was over 40 , but now I'm hearing 70+ so stand corrected
