Radar on WAFB shows another line of storms moving through BR around 10.
It will rain and might thunder, sure. Nothing close as strong to what just moved through

Power grid can't take 30mph+ gusts I suppose. 2024 I thought they would improve on this "technology" by now

Just go to the College of Dupage site and look at the HRRR runs. Updates every hour. You can look at the NAM, too. Both, along with a couple others, are what every single future cast is based on.
COD.edu HRRR
COD.edu HRRR

Might as well leave your helmets on and slide on your floaties

I use tropical tidbits or Weather.us which is great for local images of the HRRR or NAM.

Is anybody having cellular issues? My phone is going in SOS mode. Data is super intermittent & keeps going out. AT&T in Prairieville/Old Perkins area.

I use tidbits for tropical stuff. It is hard to beat COD for severe. Pivotal is good, too, and would possibly be my favorite if they'd just move the damn slider to the bottom of the map.

shite got bad in Zachary. Power went out a little after 7 but came back in 5 minutes later. Then the really rough shite hit and power is out again. My dads weather station clocked 55mph wind right off old scenic and 64.

Maybe tower damage. Definitely heavy traffic with everyone calling to check on people.

I was driving back from central in the worst of it. That was terrifying.
