Very sorry to hear this brutha...
It is my personal belief that part of our reward in the Lord's Kingdom will be our pets running up to and greeting us again -- in your case, Blue.

I rescued him at 6 months old. He had been abused and was scared of everything. And slowly came out of his shell (but stayed scared of grocery bags til the end)
He was the sweetest dog I’ve ever had.
Sorry for your loss and Kudos for taking an abused rescue and bringing him back to a normal, trusting dog, even with his occasional fears. We have a similar experience with an abused, beaten rescue mutt and they take a lot of patience and caring to build trust. Ours wouldn't come inside the house for two years. She's a smaller pup with Terrier instincts.
Know that you've humanely given a good home to a great pup, the best years of his too short life. I admire you for that and wish they're was something profound I could say to ease your grief. I am going through it now from a month ago, losing my favorite dog to old age. It hurts. Hopefully time heals all wounds, even one that today seems impossible.
My sincere condolences.

We said goodbye to our youngest lab this week as well. I’m sure they’re somewhere better playing together. My condolences to you and the family!

Sorry brother. Our dog of 16 years passed this morning. Had a rough night then passed right before taking the kids to school. Just got home a bit ago from taking him to get cremated. Again, sorry for your loss my heart is broken as well

Sorry to hear about your fur-baby's passing. Prayers sent for your loss. May Blue rest in eternal peace as he crosses the Rainbow Bridge. Take care!

Terrible news, and I hate the pain you're going through. Pain will get easier over time, even though it's tough to feel that way now. I love that puppy just from the pic dude. RIP Blue.

Sorry to hear.
Lost my yellow lab to a car almost 30 years ago. Pete was a Tuscaloosa shelter dog, rescued the day he was scheduled to go to the gas chamber.
Said "never again" as I buried him. Hurts too bad.
Good looking pup. Hate it for you.
