It’s definitely not a sexy pick. He’s infinitely a better coach than Les and O. And they both won NC. At least this will bring some dignity back to the program. The last 15+ years have been a circus.

He will not fit in here at all. He is not a players' coach. Watch a few sideline antics in videos. Very quick to throw players under the bus. "South" Bend not the south. He will not fit into our unique culture. This time next year, many will be asking "what have we done?"

I’m a ND fan as well and im skeptical.
Time and time again we luck into a good record barely beating subpar teams and getting into the playoffs majorly by school name and get exposed there.
People say he can’t get good talent due to ND academic standards but theyve gotten top 10 classes consistently.
Not sure why everyone is going crazy over him tbh.
Just seems like they are just going off of his record and the fact they hear Notre Dame consistently being in playoff consideration.

So many on here do not truly understand the process and dealing that goes into the hiring of a coach. So much speculation is purposely leaked out to the media, and much is kept behind closed doors. So many on here are on a bandwagon they self create, that they want the choice to be their choice, or it's the wrong choice!
Just be a Tiger fan and cheer and be happy for whoever the choice is! Geaux Tigers!
