Caleb Williams or Jayden Daniels in superflex dynasty?

I was torn but tried to take off the purple and gold glasses, so I went Williams. But it just isn’t sitting right with me and I’m already melting over practice reports.

I'd take JD over Caleb. Looking at stats from last year Washington had more passing yards over more attempts.

Not sure how relevant that is with Washington having a new coaching regime.

JD will be more consistent imo.
Caleb may flash.
JD I think will have a few more rushing yards as well

Caleb is probably safer, Daniels has higher upside. I think the two are interchangeable as #1 or #2 dynasty QBs this class.
Caleb has better pass catchers, better OL. Coaching probably a wash - both Waldron and Kliff have had some good offenses at times but I wouldn't say either is an offensive superstar.
Daniels' running ability should lead to him outscoring Caleb in year 1. I'd expect Daniels to average 45+ yards per game. Caleb will probably be in the 20's in the Mahomes/Wilson/Watson range. 2 PPG doesn't sound like a lot, but it can be the difference in 5+ spots from week to week.

I'm taking Caleb. Floor and ceiling are lower this year but next year Caleb is set up for success. JD5 will soon be without Terry and Dotson looks to not be good.

Pretty relevant that Kliff Kingsbury is the OC in Washington.

I haven’t seen JD go above Caleb in any of my superflex drafts. (Every single one has been some combo of MHJ/Caleb) If you really want JD, try and trade back to 1.02 or 1.03 and get a little extra.

The Bears have given Caleb 2 guys that have been strong #1 WRs and another with that upside.

Has Caleb signed his contract with the Bears?

That’s exactly what I did but the guy who took JD didn’t bite, so I’m kind of stuck with CW. I don’t feel too bad about it.

Daniels has dual threat ability, so JD >> CW.

I think Williams is in a better situation but I'm not sure I trust his mental makeup over Daniels in the long run
