Do you think Dalvin Cook is still fantasy viable?

So the Cowboys just picked up Dalvin Cook. I immediately added him in both of my leagues. I know his best RB days are probably behind him, but do you think he could still be at least a potential RB2? I know he will most likely be sharing the load with Zeke, but I feel like there is potential. What do y’all think?

I don’t. I’m holding Dowdle for when the Zeke Cook nursing home experiment goes south. Jerry knows it’s now or never for a Super Bowl and i don’t think he meddles as much with the roster this year like he has in the past. The HC will play the dudes that gives them the best chance to win and i think that will be the young guy eventually.

If you wipe last year as injury recovery - it’s still a spot where he needs 1, maybe 2 injuries to get enough volume to be relevant - and that’s if he bounces back in ability.
He’s got both personal risk and a poor situation. Would not race to roster him.

Even the his last year with minny he didn’t look great. He was more of a home run hitter than a 3 down back. He had a tough time breaking tackles and was dropped in the backfield a lot. You take away his long TDs where he was untouched and he was very mediocre.
