Removing Manager Midseason

12 team league. We have a guy who has started inactive two weeks in a row. He also did this last year in the 3rd place game.
What is the best path forward if we were to remove him from the league during the season?

Commissioner would refund his money, then agree to just manage the team based on whoever ESPN projects to score the most points that week, only adding players to fill out a starting lineup each week.

If he’s paid, I would just wait until the end of the season and not invite him back.
We used to impose penalties for starting a player that was inactive.
You could try to find another manager, which is nearly impossible unless the team is loaded or do as the poster above said, but that decreases the pot.
ETA: Do you know the guy? This is a little early for anyone to fold it up. Perhaps he had something going on personally or professionally that makes fantasy football seem less important. May want to reach out and just ask him what’s up.

We all talked to him in the thread last week and he blamed it on his phone dying. Gonna have a conversation with him today about it.

If he wants back in, prices must be paid.
What’s a fair price? Glad you asked.
Send a 90 second video explaining why he can’t click a few buttons once a week, apologizing for his actions in a public pool wearing swim floaties and goggles.

I would just let him keep going. He is basically just a bye week and then not invite him back next year. I am assuming he drafted a bad team so he is trying to tank for top pick next year

I had a league on sleeper where a guy paid and drafted and bailed on the team before the season started

His phone died for two entire weeks?

This is the route I would go. He’s already paid. And if enough people in the league complain…..then I would take the next action of running his lineup like was suggested earlier in the thread.
