Albertsons Brisket Sale $1.97/lb

Just a heads up, Albertsons has choice briskets for $1.97/lb today to 7/4. It's a digital deal so you'll have to get the Albertsons app and create an account, enter your phone number at check out to redeem. I'll probably go grab one to grind up and restock on ground brisket in the freezer.

Y'all get these deals all the time. $3.99 is about the best price available in my area.
At $1.97, I would be grinding brisket for days and stock a few whole packers for smoking. I prefer prime for smoking, but throw a little wagyu tallow on it and no one knows the difference.
ETA: Just looked at my local Kroger...choice packers for $5.99/lb.
I can do a little better at Costco, but nowhere near the deals y'all see.

Our local Kroger is running a 1.87/lb sale on choice brisket right now. Check the weekly ad.

When you go to check out enter your phone number that's associated with your app account in the key pad and it'll adjust to the sale price.

Just swung by Costco. Prime brisket still over $4 and their pork butt packs are $2.49/lb. Outrageous. Only thing worth it's price right now is the lamb and pork belly.

Yep, noticed that the other day that the last couple times we've been Costco hasn't really had many deals on meat, Super1 this week has pork butts for $0.97/lb too.

Based on those prices and your "location", I'm guessing you're in metro-Atlanta also. 
I keep my Costco membership for gas and alcohol. I also really like their granulated garlic because it is not grown in a trash pile in China like most brands. Otherwise, it's just not a great deal.

The Albertsons choice briskets haven’t been great if you want to smoke the whole thing. But they are great for grinding up. Usually I will smoke the point and grind the flat.
