Anyone here have the Crawfish boilers from academy? Are they worth the money or junk?

They look well made and I’m just curious I don’t know anyone with one

I think you'd have a hard time finding someone who didn't buy their pot/burner from Academy....

if it is the outdoor gourmet you are referring to, then yes i have used them extensively. I have been using them for years both for personal use and some catering and love them

Are you just talking about the regular burner/stand?

I just bought a new 80qt outdoor gourmet pot/burner setup this past weekend. Pretty legit overall setup for under $200

If you are referring to just pot and burner, that is all i have used and it has worked great.
If you are talking about the boiling rigs with the side dump basket then you have to watch the rust factor with the cheap non stainless metal. They all rust because as we all know salt and non stainless/galvanized materials do not mix well. You will eventually end up with a shell with no base at some point. They were all over Facebook Marketplace earlier this year, all with rust on the legs and base of the support.

I have the 100 qt outdoor gourmet pot for 6 years and it has been great.

I've had the same 100-quart pot and burner from Academy for at least 20 years. Works great, but I did remove the regulator from the hose a few years ago and just go straight to the bottle.
