has the CVS ever been a restaurant? lot of work converting a drug store it will never be ready in time..
Nope. It was built as a drug store (I think it’s been all 3 -Rite Aid, CVS, and Walgreens). I see people over there randomly, but it doesn’t look like they have even started. I’m guessing the buildout might not be as difficult as a full restaurant since the cooking surface is at the table, but honestly I have no idea.
It seems like it would have been much easier to get a building that was already a restaurant and go from there.

It's gotta be GEN or bust
I don't see how a GEN in BR would not thrive if the food quality and service is on point.

The Wong's are working on the old copeland's spot, slowly. They also are working on the old sammy's in central and possibly one more location I have heard rumblings about. THey have a lot of iron's in the fire but they always do quality projects so I feel sure when they open they will be quality spots. Still can't figure out why the gonzales spot failed though.
