Bonanza, Harvester, and Conundrum red blend (screw top) are good bottles at $18-20 with broad appeal.

Don Melchor. Chilean cab. Absolute baller and elite cab. 120, would be 200+ if it was from Napa.
You can also get Angelica Zapata cab also from chile for only around 45, and it’s really damn good. Almost as good.
You can get both at TW.

I get why people like this wine, I do. Everyone’s taste is different and if it’s good to you, it’s good.
This “wine” is... Not for me.

To each his own though.

Moderately priced, Liberty School makes a fine cab.

We've enjoyed Caterwaul lately

One of my favorites. As you noted, it's a screaming deal for price/quality. There's a few of these taking up space in the new cellar.
I had a 2019 Opus One last week and it was pretty damned good.

My wife went to Napa last month and came back with a bunch of bottles. We had this cab the other night and it was really good.

Good time to ask me that question. I spent last week exploring the Bordeaux region of France.
We had dinner at Chateau Kirwan one night and they served us their flagship wine. If I had to pick one that stands out, it would probably be that one.

Have you had the 389? It's a cab/Shiraz blend. It's delicious. Penfold's is probably my favorite vineyard.

I have. Love all their Syrah/Shairaz.
