I like the Southern Comfort brand. It's super thick so it holds up to the spiced rum.

I love eggnog. We actually make our own sometimes so we can have it in, say, March. It stays cold pretty much forever up here so it's always eggnog season

I second the southern comfort vote. The black carton.

We actually prefer Members Mark Eggnog from Sam's. The booze to cream is in good balance and they use Caribbean rum . You also can't beat the $10 price. Although they already ran out over here. lol

Pennsylvania dutch is my go to. Dad would drink it every year... We lost him 10 years ago this Dec... I will drink another bottle for him!

The Kirkland brand from Costco has been hitting the spot for me.

If you want to try making your own..

Directions:
Separate eggs and combine booze and yokes and whisk in 1/2 lb of powdered sugar. Store in fridge for 24 hrs. Keep the whites chilled also.
24hrs later, whip cream in large bowl until thick, then add half & half and the yoke/booze mix.
Add the egg whites and whip till frothy. Chill for a while before serving.

We bought both the Kirkland's and the Members Mark for a blind taste test. The Member's Mark won. It's creamier and tastes like it has a little more bite. We add more rum to the Kirkland's one, when we run out of Members Mark. For most things, I prefer the Kirkland's line. But in spiced rum and in eggnog, Member's Mark gets the nod.

Wholefoods had one I just tried from a mennonite farm or something.
Damn it was good, but I like Eggnog and always looking to try different brands.
